Jobs are how you allocate work to locations and workers. Use the Jobs list for search and bulk review; use the Board for day-to-day dispatch planning.

Job list

Open Jobs from the sidebar to see all jobs in a table. You can:
  • Search by title or place
  • Filter by status and priority
  • Sort by due date
  • Open a job for full detail, checklist progress, and team assignment

Create or edit a job

Use Create job (or edit from job detail):
  1. Pick a location and optional sub-location
  2. Choose a job template (copies checklist and audit rules)
  3. Set due date / scheduled start and priority
  4. Assign workers and/or a crew
  5. Optionally attach a vehicle when your org uses the fleet registry
Save, then track progress on the board or job detail.

Kanban board

Open Board for a workflow view. Jobs appear in columns by status:
  • Pending — scheduled, not yet started
  • In progress — workers active on site
  • Awaiting audit — work done, evidence under review
  • Completed — signed off and closed
Drag cards between columns when your role allows status changes, or open a card to update from job detail.

Calendar view

On the Board page, switch to Calendar to see jobs on a month or week grid:
  • Jobs with a scheduled start appear as timed blocks
  • Jobs with only a due date appear as all-day events on that date
  • Colour indicates priority (low → critical)
  • Drag a job to a new date/time to reschedule (managers only)
  • Resize timed events to change estimated duration
  • Click an event to open job detail

Timeline view

Switch to Timeline for a Gantt-style schedule across a rolling 7-day window:
  • By location (default on the org board) — one swimlane per site
  • By crew — see who is scheduled when; use this on location detail
  • Drag bars horizontally to reschedule; resize to adjust duration
  • Double-click a bar to open job detail
  • Use Previous / Next to move the visible week

Board filters

Use the filter bar to narrow the board (all views share the same filters):
  • Location and sub-location
  • Work crew
  • Customer
  • Priority and due-date presets
  • Hide completed or show cancelled jobs
Filters sync to the URL so you can bookmark a view (e.g. one location’s calendar for the week).

Assignment and audit path

  1. Create or schedule jobs with place, due date, and assignees.
  2. Workers see assigned jobs in the mobile app — clock in within the geofence and complete checklist steps — see Mobile for operators.
  3. When field work is done, the job moves to Awaiting audit if the template requires auditor sign-off.
  4. A manager completes audit sign-off on job detail; status becomes Completed.
  5. Export evidence from Compliance or job detail — see Compliance and exports.

Location workflow

On a location detail page, the Workflow section offers the same Board, List, Calendar, and Timeline views scoped to that site. See Map and locations.
